Graphics Specifications.

Technical Considerations:
In computer graphics, a raster graphics image is a dot matrix data structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels and points of colour. BMP stands for Bit Map, GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format and normally the GIF will be a short clip of video and JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group and is the most common type of image

Optimising: Target Image Output and Image Bit Depth:

Optimising involves increasing the efficiency or general performance of something, in terms of graphics it involves creating a just balance so the quality of the image and the file size are reasonable enough.

Bit Depth:

The volume of bits per pixel (BPP), reducing the bit depth will also reduce the image file size however the image quality is likely to suffer because of this.

The developer has said regarding the art style: "Another big influence came from Wall-E and other Pixar films that rely a lot on a lot of softy reflected light. Unlike 'realistic' games where you want to differentiate each surface and give them a unique feel, I wanted every surface in Grow Home to have the same soft, velvety look"

Composition:
In the visual arts, in particular painting, graphic design, photography and sculpture composition is the placement or arrangement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art, as distinct from the subject of work. First and foremost, composition describes placement of relative objects and elements in a work of art. There is hardly a way to overemphasise the importance of composition. Any aspiring artist ought to give composition of his work a lot of attention. A good composition is one that had just enough detail.

Typography:

Typography is basically Font, it used on covers of games and posters. It portrays the emotion of the game and can add effect anyway you want it, for example if you use big bold fonts then it gives you the effect that it needs to stand out and needs to be thing you first see. The actual definition states "The style and appearance of printed matter."
