Kate Abbot trying to prevent terrorist attacks on London working for the Embassy, while they are taking their superior Bill to a restaurant for his Birthday, The Watchmaker triggers a bomb in the Restaurant blowing it and killing everyone inside, Kate is next door buying Bill a gift and survives explosion. The rest of the embassy come to suspect she's still alive and consider her a suspect. Bill finds her and during a fight/struggle Kate shoots Bill and kills him. Suddenly Kate is wanted for terrorist attack and murder. Kate eventually boards’ plane to New York after learning of a planned attack in Times Square. Intervenes The Watchmaker and Emil Balan before they can shoot the Light Orb, exploding it. Kate manages to throw Watchmaker from the roof, saving over a million civilians below.
Characters:
Kate Abbot (Mila Jovovich) - American working for London Embassy, during terrorist attack she is framed for Bill and rest of Embassy’s murder. Goes on the run, goes to New York after learning of planned attack in Times Square.
Bill Talbot (Robert Forster) – Kate’s’ superior in the Embassy, killed by Kate after he tries to apprehend her after Restaurant explosion, his son has been captured by Terrorists.
The Watchmaker (Pierce Brosnan) – The main villain, known by the Embassy for previous attacks. In pursuit of Kate during the movie. Organises attack in Times Square. Killed by Kate before he can trigger the attack.
Emil Balan (Roger Rees) – Watchmakers accomplice, organises the attack on Times Square. Killed by Watchmaker on the rooftop.
Sam Parker (Dylan McDermott) – Sam is a high-up member of the Embassy, knocked unconscious during fight with Watchmaker. In the end scene explains to Kate she has saved over a million peoples lives.
Beginning:
Introduced during a battle scene between Terrorists of maybe Arabian descent, capture two American Counter Terrorists and burns one alive. Introduced to a team of Anti Terrorists. One of them is Kate Abbott, during her short time at the Embassy she gains enemies due to her aggressive tactics. Introduced to Terrorist team one of which is Watchmaker. During a birthday event, she steps out to by a gift and The Watchmaker triggers a bomb killing everyone inside. Kate is a suspect and then during a struggle kills her Embassy superior, Bill.
Middle:
During her flee attempt she goes to St. Pancreas, whilst there she is tracked by the Embassy and also by the Terrorist. Whilst on the tracks she attempts to hide, after knocking a grenade to the floor and detonating it she is knocked down, The Watchmaker walks towards her and Kate stabs him with some glass. She flees to a house and finds Sam, explaining what has happened he shows Kate some footage of Bills son who is the captured terrorist from the first scene. The Watchmaker attacks the house knocking Sam unconscious, Kate manages to escape. She boards a flight to New York after learning there will be a terrorist attack there.
End:
The Watchmaker and his accomplice are in Times Square, organising an attack, blowing up a Light Orb filled with explosive Gas. While on the rooftop Kate intercepts them and attacks before he can shoot the Orb. Kate throws The Watchmaker from the roof, saving everyone below.
